Henry Rodriguez pitched in the Nationals 6-1 win over the Miami Marlins on April 4.  He hasn’t seen a lead since.

H-Rod has pitched in 9 straight Nationals losses dating back to April 5.  He is the Washington Nationals grim reaper.   The anti-closer.

Zach Duke isn’t far behind.  The Nationals have lost 7 out of the 8 games he’s pitched.

Here’s a helpful tip.  If you go out to dinner, stay out late, and turn on the game when you get home, don’t bother looking at the score if you see Henry Rodriguez or Zach Duke on the mound.  Just turn off the TV and assume the Nats are getting blown out.

Here are the records for the Washington Nationals, by relievers appearances:

Rafael Soriano: 10-0

Tyler Clippard: 8-3

Drew Storen: 5-5

Craig Stammen: 4-4

Ryan Mattheus: 3-6

Zach Duke: 1-7

Henry Rodriguez: 1-9
