Things are not good with Ross Detwiler

While it seems like the favorite pass time with Nats fans this year has been obsessing over the #5 slot in the rotation (Haren, Olhendorf, Jordan, Karns), there is a creeping, more alarming problem.  Detwiler, is not pitching good since he came back off of injury.  He had a very bad outing against the Rockies two starts ago where he only lasted 3 innings;  his other 3 starts were not very good either.  He is yet to log a quality start in the last month.

The most alarming thing is he has been very hittable giving up 28 hits in 19 innings.  In his last 4 games he has allowed 16 earned runs to only 14 in his first 7 games.

If Det is no longer a reliable option in the rotation this teams hope of putting together a run in the second half of the season looks tougher to count on.
